1. Dua for Guidance and Forgiveness

Verse: Surah Al-Baqarah (2:286)

Arabic: اللَّهُمَّ لاَ تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ ۖ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا ۚ أَنتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ

Transliteration: Allāhumma lā tu’ākhidh’nā in nasīnā aw akhṭa’nā. Rabbana wa lā taḥmil ‘alaynā iṣran kamā ḥamaltahu ‘alā alladhīna min qablinā. Rabbana wa lā tuḥammil’nā mā lā ṭāqata lanā bih. Wa’fu ‘annā waghfir lanā warḥamnā, Anta mawlānā fanṣurnā ‘alā al-qawmi al-kāfirīn.

English Translation: “Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.”


2. Dua for Patience and Firmness

Verse: Surah Al-A’raf (7:126)

Arabic: رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ

Transliteration: Rabbana afrigh ‘alayna ṣabran wa tawaffanā muslimīn.

English Translation: “Our Lord, pour upon us patience and let us die as Muslims [in submission to You].”


3. Dua for Goodness in This World and the Hereafter

Verse: Surah Al-Baqarah (2:201)

Arabic: رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Transliteration: Rabbana ātinā fī al-dunyā ḥasanatan wa fī al-ākhirati ḥasanatan wa qinā ‘adhāba an-nār.

English Translation: “Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.”


4. Dua for Increase in Knowledge

Verse: Surah Taha (20:114)

Arabic: رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا

Transliteration: Rabbi zidnī ‘ilmā.

English Translation: “My Lord, increase me in knowledge.”


5. Dua for Mercy

Verse: Surah Al-Mu’minun (23:118)

Arabic: رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

Transliteration: Rabbi ighfir warḥam wa anta khayru ar-rāḥimīn.

English Translation: “My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful.”


6. Dua for Protection from Hellfire

Verse: Surah Al-Furqan (25:65)

Arabic: رَبَّنَا اصْرِفْ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَ إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا

Transliteration: Rabbana aṣrif ‘annā ‘adhāba jahannama inna ‘adhābahā kāna gharāmā.

English Translation: “Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell. Indeed, its punishment is ever adhering.”

7. Dua for a Good End

Verse: Surah Al-Ankabut (29:69)

Arabic: وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا ۗ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمَعَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ

Transliteration: Walladhīna jāhadū fīnā lanahdīannahum subulanā. Wa innallāha ma’a al-muḥsinīn.

English Translation: “And those who strive for Us – We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good.”


8. Dua for Deliverance from Trials

Verse: Surah Al-Anfal (8:40)

Arabic: وَإِن لَّمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا لَكُمْ فَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا أُنزِلَ بِعِلْمِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَأَنَّمَا إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ ۗ فَهَلْ أَنتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ

Transliteration: Wa in lam yastajībū lakum fa’lamū anna mā unzil bi’ilmi Allāh. Wa anna mā ilāh wahid. Fahal antum muslīmūn.

English Translation: “And if they do not respond to you, then know that the Qur’an was revealed with the knowledge of Allah. And that there is no deity except Him. So will you not submit [to Him]?”


9. Dua for Relief from Anxiety

Verse: Surah Al-Hijr (15:97-98)

Arabic: وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّ صَدْرَكَ يَضِيقُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ ﴿٩٧﴾فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَكُن مِّنَ السَّاجِدِينَ ﴿٩٨﴾

Transliteration: Wa laqad na’lamu anna ṣadra’ka yaḍīqu bimā yaqūlūn. Fasabbih biḥamdi rabbika wakun mina as-sājidīn.

English Translation: “And We already know that your breast is constrained by what they say. So exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord and be among those who prostrate.”


10. Dua for Ease and Relief

Verse: Surah Al-Inshirah (94:5-6)

Arabic: فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا ﴿٦﴾

Transliteration: Fa’innama’al-usri yusra.

English Translation: “For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.”


11. Dua for a Good Spouse

Verse: Surah Al-Furqan (25:74)

Arabic: وَالَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا

Transliteration: Walladhīna yaqūlūna rabbana hab lanā min azwājina wa dhurriyyātinā qurrata a’yunin wa jā’ilnā lil-muttaqīn imāmā.

English Translation: “And those who say, ‘Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring the coolness of our eyes and make us an example for the righteous.'”


12. Dua for Protection from the Evil of Envy

Verse: Surah Al-Falaq (113:1-5)

Arabic: قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ ﴿١﴾مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ ﴿٢﴾وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ ﴿٣﴾وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ ﴿٤﴾وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ ﴿٥﴾

Transliteration: Qul a’ūzu birabbi al-falaq. Min sharri mā khalaq. Wa min sharri ghāsiqin idhā waqab. Wa min sharri an-naffāthāti fī al-‘uqad. Wa min sharri ḥāsidin idhā ḥasad.

English Translation: “Say, ‘I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak. From the evil of that which He created. And from the evil of darkness when it settles. And from the evil of the blowers in knots. And from the evil of an envier when he envies.'”


13. Dua for Ease in Difficulties

Verse: Surah Al-Ankabut (29:69)

Arabic: وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا ۗ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمَعَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ

Transliteration: Walladhīna jāhadū fīnā lanahdīannahum subulanā. Wa innallāha ma’a al-muḥsinīn.

English Translation: “And those who strive for Us – We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good.”


14. Dua for Seeking Refuge from Trials

Verse: Surah Al-Mu’minun (23:97-98)

Arabic: وَقُلْ رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ ﴿٩٧﴾وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَنْ يَحْضُرُونِ ﴿٩٨﴾

Transliteration: Wa qul rabbi a’ūzu bika min hamazāti ash-shayāṭīn. Wa a’ūzu bika rabbi an yaḥḍurūn.

English Translation: “And say, ‘My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils. And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me.'”


15. Dua for a Beloved Child

Verse: Surah Al-Kahf (18:10)

Arabic: رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِ

Transliteration: Rabbana āmannā faghfir lanā dhunūbanā wa kaffir ‘annā sayyi’ātinā wa tawaffanā ma’a al-abār.

English Translation: “Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.”


16. Dua for Gratitude

Verse: Surah Ibrahim (14:40)

Arabic: رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَوَاتِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي ۗ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ

Transliteration: Rabbi aj’ilnī muqīma aṣ-ṣalāti wa min dhurriyyātī. Rabbana wa taqabbal du’ā.

English Translation: “My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication.”


17. Dua for Seeking Good in the Hereafter

Verse: Surah Al-Qasas (28:24)

Arabic: رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ

Transliteration: Rabbi innī limā anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqīr.

English Translation: “My Lord, indeed I am in need of whatever good You would send down to me.”


18. Dua for Overcoming Hardship

Verse: Surah Al-Isra (17:80)

Arabic: وَقُلْ رَبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ ۗ وَاجْعَلْ لِي مِن لَّدُنْكَ سُلْطَانًا نَّصِيرًا

Transliteration: Wa qul rabbi adkhilnī mudkhal ṣidqin wa akhrijnī mukhrāj ṣidq. Wa aj’il lī min ladunka sulṭānan naṣīrā.

English Translation: “And say, ‘My Lord, let me enter a sound entry and let me exit a sound exit, and give me from Yourself a supporting authority.'”


19. Dua for Health and Healing

Verse: Surah Ash-Shu’ara (26:80)

Arabic: وَإِذَا مَرِضْتُ فَهُوَ يَشْفِينِ

Transliteration: Wa idhā maridtu fahuwa yashfīn.

English Translation: “And when I am ill, it is He who cures me.”


20. Dua for Removing Distress

Verse: Surah Al-Anbiya (21:87)

Arabic: وَذَا النُّونِ إِذْ ذَهَبَ مُغَاضِبًا فَظَنَّ أَنْ لَن نَّقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ فَنَادَىٰ فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ

Transliteration: Wa dhā an-nūni idh dhahaba mughaḍibā. Faẓanna an lan naqdir ‘alayh. Fanādā fī az-zulūmāti an lā ilāha illā anta subḥānaka innī kuntu mina ẓ-ẓālimīn.

English Translation: “And [mention] the man of the fish [i.e., Jonah], when he went off in anger and thought that We would not decree anything upon him. And he called out within the darknesses, ‘There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.'”


21. Dua for Strength and Support

Verse: Surah Al-Hajj (22:41)

Arabic: الَّذِينَ إِن مَّكَّنَّاهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَقَامُوا الصَّلَوَاتِ وَآتُوا الزَّكَوَاتِ وَأَمَرُوا بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَنَهَوْا عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ ۗ وَلِلَّهِ عَاقِبَةُ الْأُمُورِ

Transliteration: Alladhīna in makkannāhum fī al-arḍi aqāmū aṣ-ṣalāt wa ātū az-zakāt wa amaru bil-maʿrūf wa nahaw ‘ani al-munkar. Wa lillāhi ‘āqibat al-umūr.

English Translation: “Those who, if We give them authority in the land, establish prayer and give zakat and enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong. And to Allah belongs the final outcome of all matters.”


22. Dua for Mercy and Forgiveness

Verse: Surah Al-A’raf (7:56)

Arabic: وَلَا تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ بَعْدَ إِصْلَاحِهَا ۗ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ

Transliteration: Wa lā tufsidū fī al-arḍi ba’da iṣlāḥihā. Dhālikum khayrun lakum in kuntum mu’minīn.

English Translation: “And do not cause corruption upon the earth after its reformation. That is better for you, if you should be believers.”


23. Dua for Abundant Blessings

Verse: Surah Al-Mumtahanah (60:4)

Arabic: رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا رَبَّنَا ۗ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ

Transliteration: Rabbana lā taj’alnā fitnatan lil-ladhīna kafarū waghfir lanā rabbana. Innaka anta al-ʿazīz al-ḥakīm.

English Translation: “Our Lord, do not make us a trial for those who disbelieve and forgive us, our Lord. Indeed, You are the Exalted in Might, the Wise.”


24. Dua for Patience

Verse: Surah Al-Imran (3:200)

Arabic: يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اصْبِرُوا وَصَابِرُوا وَرَابِطُوا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ

Transliteration: Yā ayyuhā alladhīna āmanū ṣbirū wa ṣābirū wa rābiṭū wa ittaqū Allāh. Laʿallakum tufliḥūn.

English Translation: “O you who have believed, be patient and advocate patience and remain stationed and fear Allah that you may be successful.”


25. Dua for Purification and Cleanliness

Verse: Surah Al-Baqarah (2:128)

Arabic: رَبَّنَا اجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَا مُسْلِمِينَ لَكَ ۗ رَبَّنَا وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا ۗ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْغَفُورُ الْرَّحِيمُ

Transliteration: Rabbana aj’ilnā muslimayni laka wa min dhurriyyātinā muslimīn laka. Rabbana wa arinā manāsikanā wa tūb ‘alaynā. Innaka anta al-ghafūr al-raḥīm.

English Translation: “Our Lord, make us both submissive to You and [grant] us submission from our descendants. Our Lord, and show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.”


26. Dua for Relief from Difficulties

Verse: Surah Al-A’raf (7:43)

Arabic: وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّن غِلٍّ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ ۗ وَقَالُوا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي هَدَانَا لِهَٰذَا ۗ وَمَا كُنَّا لِنَهْتَدِيَ لَوْلَا أَنْ هَدَانَا اللَّهُ ۗ لَقَدْ جَاءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِالْحَقِّ ۗ وَنُودُوا أَنْ تِلْكُمُ الْجَنَّةُ ۖ أُورِثْتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

Transliteration: Wa naza’nā mā fī ṣudūrihim min ghillin tajrī min taḥtihā al-anḥār. Wa qālū al-ḥamdu lillāh alladhī hadānā lihādhā. Wa mā kunnā lin’ahtadiya lawlā an hadānā Allāh. Laqad jā’at rusulu rabbinā bil-ḥaqq. Wa nūdū an tilkumu al-jannatu urith’tumūhā bimā kuntum ta’malūn.

English Translation: “And We have removed whatever is within their breasts of resentment, [so they are] brothers, on thrones facing each other. And they will be given to drink a cup [of wine] from a spring within Paradise. And they will not hear therein any ill speech or falsehood. Only a word of peace, and they will have in the Hereafter a reward that is better.”


27. Dua for Protection from Evil

Verse: Surah An-Nas (114:1-6)

Arabic: قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ ﴿١﴾مَلِكِ النَّاسِ ﴿٢﴾إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ ﴿٣﴾مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ ﴿٤﴾الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ ﴿٥﴾مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ ﴿٦﴾

Transliteration: Qul a’ūzu birabbi an-nās. Maliki an-nās. Ilāhi an-nās. Min sharri al-waswāsi al-khannās. Alladhī yuwaswisu fī ṣudūri an-nās. Mina al-jinnati wa an-nās.

English Translation: “Say, ‘I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the Sovereign of mankind. The God of mankind, from the evil of the retreating whisperer – who whispers evil into the breasts of mankind, from among jinn and mankind.'”


28. Dua for Good Company

Verse: Surah At-Tawbah (9:118)

Arabic: وَعَلَى الثَّلَاثَةِ الَّذِينَ خُلِّفُوا حَتَّىٰ إِذَا ضَاقَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَرْضُ بِمَا رَحُبَتْ وَضَاقَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ أَنفُسُهُمْ وَظَنُّوا أَنْ لَا مَلْجَأَ مِنَ اللَّهِ إِلَّا إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ تَابَ عَلَيْهِمْ لِيَتُوبُوا ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ التَّوَابُ الرَّحِيمُ

Transliteration: Wa ‘alā ath-thalāthati alladhīna khullifū ḥattā idhā ḍāqat ‘alayhimu al-ardhu bimā raḥubat wa ḍāqat ‘alayhim anfusuhum wa ẓannū an lā malja’a mina Allāh illā ilayh. Thumma tāb ‘alayhim li-yatūbū. Innallāha huwa at-tawwāb ar-raḥīm.

English Translation: “And [He also forgave] the three who were left behind until, when the earth was closed upon them for what it contained and their own souls were distressed for them, and they thought that there is no refuge from Allah except in Him, then He turned to them so they could repent. Indeed, Allah is the Accepting of Repentance, the Merciful.”


29. Dua for Acceptance of Repentance

Verse: Surah Al-Furqan (25:70)

Arabic: إِلَّا مَنْ تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا ۗ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ يُبَدِّلُ اللَّهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ حَسَنَاتٍ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا

Transliteration: Illā man tāba wa āmana wa ‘amila ‘amalan ṣāliḥan. Fa’ūlā’ika yubaddilu Allāhu sayyi’ātihim ḥasanāt. Wa kān Allāhu ghafūrā raḥīmā.

English Translation: “Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.”


30. Dua for Avoiding Hypocrisy

Verse: Surah Al-Mumtahanah (60:8)

Arabic: لَا يَنْهَاكَ اللَّهُ عَنِ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجُوكُمْ مِنْ دِيَارِكُمْ أَنْ تَبَرُّوهُمْ وَتُقْسِطُوا إِلَيْهِمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُقْسِطِينَ

Transliteration: Lā yanḥāk Allāhū ‘ani alladhīna lam yuqātilūkum fī ad-dīnī wa lam yukhrijūkum min diyārikum an tabarrūhum wa tuqsitū ilayhim. Innallāha yuḥibbu al-muqṣitīn.

English Translation: “Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes – from being righteous and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.”

Daily Life Du'as

1. Dua Before Eating
Arabic: بسم الله
Transliteration: Bismillah
English: In the name of Allah.

2. Dua After Eating
Arabic: الحمد لله الذي أطعمني هذا، ورزقنيه من غير حول مني ولا قوة
Transliteration: Alhamdu lillaahil-ladhi at’amanee haadha, wa razaqaneehi min ghayri hawlin minnee wa laa quwwah
English: Praise be to Allah who has given me this food and provided it for me without any might or power from myself.

3. Dua for Guidance
Arabic: اللهم اهدني وسددني
Transliteration: Allahumma ihdini wasaddidni
English: O Allah, guide me and keep me steadfast.

4. Dua for Forgiveness
Arabic: رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي
Transliteration: Rabbi ighfir li
English: My Lord, forgive me.

5. Dua Before Sleeping
Arabic: بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
Transliteration: Bismika Allahumma amutu wa ahya
English: In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live.

6. Dua After Waking Up
Arabic: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
Transliteration: Alhamdu lillaahil-ladhi ahyaanaa ba’da maa amaatana wa ilayhin-nushoor
English: Praise be to Allah who has given us life after He caused us to die, and to Him is the resurrection.

7. Dua When Entering the House
Arabic: بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَلَجْنَا، وَبِسْمِ اللَّهِ خَرَجْنَا، وَعَلَى اللَّهِ رَبِّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا
Transliteration: Bismillahi walajnaa, wa bismillahi kharajnaa, wa ‘alaa Rabbinaa tawakkalnaa
English: In the name of Allah, we enter, and in the name of Allah, we leave, and upon our Lord we rely.

8. Dua When Leaving the House
Arabic: بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
Transliteration: Bismillah, tawakkaltu ‘ala Allah, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah
English: In the name of Allah, I trust in Allah; there is no power and no strength except with Allah.

9. Dua for Seeking Knowledge
Arabic: رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا
Transliteration: Rabbi zidni ‘ilma

English: Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter and protect us from the torment of the Fire.

English: There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.

Arabic: حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
Transliteration: Hasbiyallahu la ilaha illa huwa ‘alayhi tawakkaltu wa huwa Rabbul-‘arshil-‘azim
English: Allah is sufficient for me; there is no deity except Him. Upon Him, I rely, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne.

English: O Allah, I seek refuge with You from calamity, illness, suffering, and harshness.

Arabic: اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ كَسَوْتَنِيهِ، أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَهُ وَخَيْرَ مَا صُنِعَ لَهُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ وَشَرِّ مَا صُنِعَ لَهُ
Transliteration: Allahumma laka al-hamdu anta kasawtanihi, as’aluka khayrahu wa khayra ma suni’a lahu, wa a’udhu bika min sharrihi wa sharri ma suni’a lahu
English: O Allah, praise is to You; You have clothed me with it. I ask You for its good and the good of what it was made for, and I seek refuge with You from its evil and the evil of what it was made for.

25. Dua for Entering the Market
Arabic: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ، وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ، بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Transliteration: La ilaha illa Allah wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahu al-mulku wa lahu al-hamdu, yuhyi wa yumitu, wa huwa hayyun la yamut, biyadihi al-khayr, wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadir
English: There is no deity but Allah, alone, without partner. His is the dominion, and His is the praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is living and does not die. In His hand is all good, and He has power over all things.

26. Dua for Anxiety and Sorrow
Arabic: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ، وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ

English: O Allah, I seek refuge with You from anxiety and sorrow, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debts, and the overpowering of men.

Arabic: أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، اشْفِ وَأَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا
Transliteration: Adhhibil-ba’sa Rabb an-naas, ishfi wa anta ash-shaafi, la shifaa’a illa shifaa’uka, shifaa’an la yughadiru saqama
English: Remove the affliction, Lord of the people. Heal, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness behind.

Arabic: يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ
Transliteration: Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum bi-rahmatika astaghith

Arabic: رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَنْ يَحْضُرُونِ

Arabic: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْبُخْلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ أَنْ أَرُدَّ إِلَى أَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدُّنْيَا وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ
Transliteration: Allahumma inni a’udhu bika minal-bukhli, wa a’udhu bika minal-jubni, wa a’udhu bika min an uradda ila ardhalil-‘umuri, wa a’udhu bika min fitnatid-dunya wa ‘adhabil-qabr
English: O Allah, I seek refuge with You from miserliness, and I seek refuge with You from cowardice, and I seek refuge with You from being returned to the feeblest age, and I seek refuge with You from the trials of this world and the punishment of the grave.

36. Dua for Protection from Evil Companions
Arabic: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ صَاحِبِ السُّوءِ وَقَرِينِ السُّوءِ
Transliteration: Allahumma inni a’udhu bika min sahibis-soo’i wa qareenis-soo’i
English: O Allah, I seek refuge with You from an evil companion and an evil neighbor.

Arabic: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْبَرَصِ وَالْجُنُونِ وَالْجُذَامِ وَمِنْ سَيِّئِ الْأَسْقَامِ
Transliteration: Allahumma inni a’udhu bika minal-barasi wal-jununi wal-judhaami wa min sayyi’il-asqaam

Arabic: اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنَا نُحِبُّكَ وَنُحِبُّ مَنْ يُحِبُّكَ، وَنُحِبُّ مَنْ يُقَرِّبُنَا إِلَى حُبِّكَ
Transliteration: Allahumma aj’alna nuhibbuka wa nuhibbu man yuhibbuka, wa nuhibbu man yuqarribuna ila hubbika

Arabic: رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيًّا

Arabic: اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
Transliteration: Ihdinas-siratal-mustaqim
English: Guide us to the straight path.

Transliteration: Allahumma ihfazna min bayni aydeena wa min khalfina, wa ‘an aymanina wa ‘an shamailina, wa min fawqina, wa na’udhu bi’azamatika an nughtala min tahtina
English: O Allah, protect us from in front of us, from behind us, from our right, from our left, and from above us. And we seek refuge in Your greatness from being taken unaware from beneath us.

50. Dua for Removing Hardship
Arabic: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ زَوَالِ نِعْمَتِكَ، وَتَحَوُّلِ عَافِيَتِكَ، وَفُجَاءَةِ نِقْمَتِكَ، وَجَمِيعِ سَخَطِكَ
Transliteration: Allahumma inni a’udhu bika min zawali ni’matika, wa tahawwuli ‘afiyatika, wa fujaa’ati niqmatika, wa jamee’i sakhatika
English: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the withdrawal of Your bounty, the decline of Your protection, the sudden onset of Your punishment, and all that displeases You.

Arabic: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا أَمَسَّ بِهِ عِبَادُكَ الصَّالِحُونَ
Transliteration: Allahumma inni as’aluka min khayri ma amassa bihi ‘ibadukas-salihun
English: O Allah, I ask You for the good that Your righteous servants may have touched.
